Cabana Rules

The beach area will be open for use during the hours of 6:00 AM until 11:00 PM except for weekends and holidays when closing time will be extended to 12:00 PM.  Beach access and cabana usage are for Twanoh Falls Beach Club members, their immediate families and guests only. Parties are to be held to twenty (30) guests.

Quiet hours in and around the large cabana are between 9:00 PM and 10:00 AM.  Quiet is defined as no amplification, no construction-type noises and no voices raised above a conversational level. Music is to be played at a reasonable volume at all times.  Music is not allowed during quiet hours and is to be turned off by 9:00 pm without exception.

GENERAL CONDUCT

No obnoxious or offensive behavior will be allowed on Beach Club property.  All persons must conduct themselves in a civil and courteous manner.  Harassment or physical abuse of any person is prohibited.  No loud, profane or abusive language is allowed.  In consideration of the neighbors in the vicinity of the beach area, no unnecessary noise or commotion will be permitted.  Property owners will be responsible for the deportment and actions of their guests and tenants.

USAGE

Do not nail or staple decorations or any other type of items to any of the framework of the cabana.  Please use tape only.  Painter's tape is preferable as it peels off easily.  Use clips that hang off of the gutters for decorative lighting.  Clean up after yourselves, which includes cleaning the fireplace if used.  Do not cook directly on the wood countertop.  Do not cook or barbeque in or on the rock fireplace. Any violation of the rules is subject to fines and beach privileges may be revoked.

Cabana Reservation Policy

Reservations are required for the use of the facilities by 10 or more guests.  We ask that parties are to be held to thirty (30) guests. Reservations for the large cabana are accepted from May through September or year-round during the current year, as long as we have a Beach Host on site.  At least two weeks notice is required to obtain permission.  The permit must be posted on the cabana.  The reservation fee will not be refunded if there are any violations of the rules.

Large cabana: Only the large cabana may be reserved.  It will be available on a first come first served basis if it is not reserved.  When not reserved, the cabana can only be held by being occupied.  Placing personal items at the cabana will not hold the cabana.  Reservations may be made starting in January of the current year.  The reservation fee is $50, which is refundable if the cabana and surrounding area are left clean and undamaged.  If there is damage, the member who reserved the cabana will be responsible for restitution in the amount required to restore to original condition.  Reservations will not be held until the $50 deposit is received.  Contact our Beach Director by phone or by email for reservations or questions.

The cabana will not be reserved on holidays or holiday weekends, during TFBC community events or during Board of Directors meetings when held at the beach.  The aforementioned holidays/holiday weekends are Memorial Day, Fourth of July and Labor Day.

Small cabanas: The other two cabanas are open to first come first served. Both cabanas can only be held by being occupied.  Placing personal items at a cabana will not hold the cabana.
